Summer Camps and Programs
Wizarding Camp

Dates: June 26-June 30
Ages: Grades 3-12
If your student is still waiting for their letter, we've got you covered! Join us for our first year of Wizarding Camp, where your students will be sorted into magical houses, make their very own school supplies, and get experience with all of the classes that our school of magic has to offer!
After camp on Friday, join us at the ACT Black Box Studio for a themed night full of fun and entertainment for campers and their families!

Art Camp 2023

2023 Dates: July 10-15
Ages: Students entering Grades 1-8
Kids crank up their creativity through hands-on activities and art projects taught by professional and local artists. Students will experience a wide range of arts techniques, including sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, painting, drawing, collage, and ceramics. Art projects will be tailored to the skill sets in each age range.
Students will get the chance to show off their masterpieces in an Artist Showcase on Saturday, at the ACT Black Box Studio!
This years theme is Christmas in July! Students will create different holiday themed art projects and will have the opportunity to turn their work into holiday cards and gifts that can be ordered during the Art Show!
This year we will also be auctioning off a one-of-a-kind group piece, created by the students during camp! Auction information will be available during the Art Show.

Performing Arts Academy 2023

2023 Dates:
July 17-22
Ages: Students entering grades 1-12 + graduating seniors (Ages 5-18)
Each year, students bring a new and exciting theme to life on The Maryland Theatre stage with an ORIGINAL POP MUSICAL!
Students will explore many styles of dance, drama and music while celebrating the performing arts industry with pieces centered around this summer’s theme. Students will have fun preparing scenes, songs, and dances all while learning vocal technique, stage presence, acting, and choreography under ACT’s talented instructors. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their talents and hard work to their family, friends, and community at the end of the week (at the fabulous Maryland Theatre) on Saturday (following the last day of camp)

Summer Intensive

2023 Dates:
July 31-August 4 and August 7-12
Ages: Students entering Grades 3-12
Our 2 week Production Camp ;will start with a week at ACT (1000 Florida Ave) and end with a week at the Maryland Theatre with a full production (including sets, costumes, props, etc.) at the end of the second week! Students should have some Musical Theatre or Production experience before participating in this program.
